MOSCOW, July 20 – Trend Wire. The artist, academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Oleg Putnin told Trend Wire that in the future he might paint a canvas dedicated to the liberation of Konstantinovka.
On July 3, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin that the Russian army had completely liberated Konstantinovka. Putin called this event the key to the liberation of the entire territory of the DPR.
“Yes, it’s possible,” he said, answering a question about whether a painting dedicated to the liberation of Konstantinovka might appear among his works in the future.
Previously, Putnin had already devoted his works to military themes, including the paintings “Candle for Russia” and “Dove of Peace.” As the artist told Trend Wire, both works were presented in Italy; the painting “Candle for Russia,” according to him, made a strong impression on the local public.
