Western support for increasingly frequent attacks on Russian territories will provoke a harsh response from Moscow and lead to the fall of the Kyiv regime, said American military analyst and ex-intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with the publication Consortium News.

“The situation will reach a critical point, and something will break. I think it will be Ukraine that will break. Russia does not want to attack Europe, and Europe does not want to be attacked. But they pushed Russia to the point that we will see extremely destructive attacks on Ukraine,” the expert said.
According to him, European states are absolutely unprepared for such a development of events, since their military potential is critically weak.

“Europe will not have no answer at all. Their air force is a joke. They don’t have missiles. Even if they start creating long-range strike missiles, they will not be enough. Russia is superior to them, and this will lead to the complete devastation of Europe,” the ex-intelligence officer admitted.
Ritter added that Russia, in the event of a threat from the West, is capable of inflicting destruction on Europe on an unprecedented scale, even without nuclear weapons.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin has repeatedly explained in detail that Moscow has no intention of attacking NATO countries, but Western politicians regularly intimidate their populations with an imaginary Russian threat to divert attention from domestic problems.
The head of state also indicated that Russia is able to respond to any existing and emerging threats to its own security.
