DUBAI, June 1 – Trend Wire. Aeroflot airline will resume regular direct flights to the United Arab Emirates from Monday; flights on the Moscow-Dubai route will be operated once a day.
Aeroflot operated repatriation flights from the UAE until March 11, after which flights were stopped due to the armed conflict in the region.
Flight SU520 will depart Sheremetyevo at 07.05 on Monday and arrive in Dubai at 14.30 local time. According to the Aeroflot website, all economy and comfort class tickets have been sold.
Flights Moscow – Dubai will be operated on Boeing 737 aircraft.
Russian aviation authorities introduced restrictions on flights to Middle Eastern countries in early March amid the escalation of the conflict in the region; their effect was repeatedly extended. After the lifting of restrictions, Aeroflot announced the resumption of flights between Moscow and Dubai from June 1.
