MOSCOW, May 27 – Trend Wire. The Nikulinsky Court of Moscow registered the defendants’ appeals against the decision to seize assets worth 6 billion rubles from the former deputy head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Alexey Semenov, his partners and relatives, it follows from the court data at the disposal of Trend Wire.
At the end of April, the court, at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, converted into state income the property of Semenov, his relatives, former leaders of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “ZashchitaInfoTrans” Vyacheslav Smirnov, Yuri Spassky and Viktor Parakhin, co-owner of the IT company “Inforion” Alexander Selemenev, as well as a number of other persons associated with the former official. The value of the seized property exceeds 6 billion rubles.

Similar information is provided regarding other defendants, but the former Deputy Minister of Transport has not yet appealed the decision.
Shares in the authorized capitals and securities of commercial organizations, 15 premium foreign cars, more than 25 residential and 42 non-residential buildings and premises, and jewelry became the property of the state. The court also seized Semenov’s brother’s motor yacht and Parakhin’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
In addition, 258.5 million rubles were jointly recovered from the defendants, which is equivalent to the cost of the sold real estate, as well as a state duty of 900 thousand rubles.
As the Prosecutor General’s Office reported, Semenov, together with Smirnov, Spassky and Parakhin, organized a corruption scheme for the use of budget funds. To do this, they attracted the IT company Inforion Technologies, which was later renamed Inforion LLC. Since 2009, FSUE ZashchitaInfoTrans has concluded more than 20 contracts worth over 340 million rubles for services with Inforion LLC.
Semenov was arrested at the end of 2024 in the case of theft of more than 200 million rubles; the events relate to 2012, when he served as director of the department of development programs under the Ministry of Transport. Smirnov was also taken into custody.
