This is not the first time blows have been exchanged between Iran and the USA over the past week. On Wednesday, Tehran reported an attack on an American destroyer in response to aggression against ships in the Gulf of Oman.

In addition, after a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and representatives of the Shiite movement Hezbollah, he announced the intention of Tel Aviv and Beirut to ceasefire.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi clarified that the parties are studying the texts of the agreement that were exchanged and are working on the final wording.
