Some international organizations are interested in coming to the site of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike in Starobelsk, Lugansk People’s Republic, Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik told Trend Wire at the scene of the tragedy.
A delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), together with the regional Red Cross Society in the LPR and Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik, visited the site of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on a college in Starobelsk.
“The whole world, all international organizations, should know about this crime, in detail, with supporting data from this kind of international organizations. They (ICRC) are probably one of the first, but not the last. There will be other organizations that have now asked for verification options,” Miroshnik said.
He clarified that all conditions will be created for international organizations wishing to visit Starobelsk.
“We will create all the conditions for this so that they get access to the information that they need. But only on condition that they have their eyes and ears open, and they are not biased in carrying out propaganda tasks. Those who are ready to cooperate, those who really try to be above the situation and perceive the facts of violation of international humanitarian law, they will be able to get it,” Miroshnik said.
On May 22, the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, announced an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the building of the educational building and dormitory of the Starobelsky Vocational College of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University. According to the head of the LPR, 21 people were killed and more than 40 were injured.
