MOSCOW, May 27 – Trend Wire. The Ministry of Health is developing a bill that will make it impossible to purchase prescription drugs without an electronic prescription, said the head of Roszdravnadzor Alla Samoilova.
According to her, there are still sales of such drugs without a prescription.
“Only a clear link to the electronic recipe <...> through the system MDLP prohibits the sale of prescription drugs. Therefore, the mechanism is now being worked out, the Ministry of Health is developing this bill today, and in this case it will be completely impossible to buy a medicine if you do not have an electronic prescription,” Samoilova said during an open dialogue in the Federation Council.
State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Health Oleg Salagai added that the department is now awaiting completion of the finalization of the text of the bill. According to him, its discussion with the Federation Council will take place within several months.
