UFA, May 28 – Trend Wire. Twelve veterans of the special military operation have been employed in the authorities and organizations of Udmurtia thanks to the project “OUR OWN Reserve18,” said the head of the region, Alexander Brechalov, answering questions live from residents of the republic.
The “SVOy Reserve18” program was developed by analogy with the all-Russian project “Time of Heroes” and is aimed at training managers and specialists from among the participants and veterans of the SVO for employment in government bodies, municipalities, enterprises and organizations of the republic.
During the live broadcast, the head of Udmurtia was asked who had already found their calling thanks to this program. The head of the region pointed to an integrated approach to solving issues of employment of military personnel.
“We support our participants in the special military operation not only through the “OUR OWN Reserve18” program. We individually handle each request for help in finding a job, starting a business, or medical rehabilitation. The first stream of the “OUR OWN Reserve18” program is already completing training. The republican and municipal teams are being replenished with worthy personnel. 12 people from among the project participants are already working,” Brechalov replied.
He said that among the employed veterans is a holder of the Order of Courage, Mikhail Chernichkin, who became the deputy minister of youth policy of the republic. Recipient of three Orders of Courage Oleg Matveev holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Izhevsk City Duma and heads the regional association of veterans of the Northern Military District.
The press service of the head of the region reported that in the regions of the republic, support for military personnel and their families is supervised by deputy heads of administrations. In the Uvinsky, Yakshur-Bodinsky and Seltinsky districts, they were program participants Stanislav Malkov, Alexey Ashpalatov and Sergey Fedotov, respectively. Also, veterans of the Northern Military District headed district organizations and were elected deputies of city councils, the message clarifies.
As noted in the press service, support for military personnel returning from a special operation and the patriotic education of youth is one of the priority areas of work for the entire Udmurtia team, which the head of the republic outlined for 2026.
