Injured by heavy hailstorm during Bad Bunny concert in Milan

A concert by Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny in Milan was canceled last night because heavy hailstorms passed through the venue. At the Ippodromo La Maura racecourse, about 80,000 fans were caught in the sudden storm after five songs.

Initially, it was announced that the two-hour concert would be interrupted for a few minutes and the audience had to stay in place. Because the storm turned out to be more severe than initially thought, it was decided to cancel the performance.

Groups of people took shelter under umbrellas, trees and canopies. According to the fire brigade, several people were injured when they were hit on the head by hailstones.

The performance was part of the singer’s world tour. It is not yet clear whether it will be overtaken at a later date.
