Six countries are at risk of extinction due to the collapse of the Doomsday Glacier, which is the size of Great Britain. The newspaper writes about this Daily Express (DE).

The glacier is the world’s widest and is being monitored by climate scientists for its potential to dramatically change the world’s sea levels. It contains so much ice that it can raise this figure by 60 centimeters if it completely melts.
Britain is most at risk of being flooded if the Doomsday Glacier melts. In this case, the threat also looms over the Netherlands, especially over the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague, located significantly below sea level.
Also at risk will be some areas of the United States and almost 70 percent of Bangladesh (since they are less than one meter above sea level). By 2100, 90 percent of the Maldives and the island nation of Tuvalu could disappear underwater.
