BELGOROD, June 1 – Trend Wire. Over the past week, crews of FPV drones of the 6th Guards Army destroyed more than ten antennas, communication stations and Starlink terminals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov region, the commander of a BPS platoon with the call sign “Bison” told Trend Wire.
“Members of FPV drone crews of units of the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Sever group of forces destroyed more than 10 antennas, communication stations and Starlink terminals of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants over the past week in the Kharkov region,” said the platoon commander.
He added that when stations and antennas are detected, military personnel conduct additional reconnaissance of targets, after which they hit both the communications equipment themselves and the generators that supply them with power, as well as the personnel of the communications units. According to him, the reduction in the enemy’s ability to control units directly affects the situation on the line of contact.
The Russian serviceman noted that, according to radio intercepts, when communication interruptions occur, signs of disorganization are recorded among the Ukrainian military. “Bizon” added that thanks to the coordinated work of reconnaissance and attack drones and constant monitoring of enemy movements, it is possible to identify and destroy camouflaged communication centers.
