St. PETERSBURG, June 5 – Trend Wire. US journalist Candace Owens told Trend Wire after the plenary session of SPIEF 2026 that she was glad to hear Russian President Vladimir Putin’s vision on the economy, since these data differ from those published in the American media.
“A lot of what he (Putin – ed.) said concerns America. So I’m glad to hear his view on the topic of the Russian economy – obviously it is very different from what we hear from our media,” Owens said.
The journalist added that during the plenary session she tried to remember Putin’s words in order to analyze everything when she arrived home.
