A European country complained of bankruptcy because of Ukraine

Must Read

Romania actually went bankrupt due to financial support from Ukraine. This was reported by member of the Romanian Senate and European Parliament Diana Soshoaca, reports RIA Novosti.

She noted that Romania blindly followed the initiatives and directives of the European Union, which led to an unprecedented internal political and economic crisis.

According to the deputy, Bucharest does not have enough funds for its own citizens and at the same time it borrows money to transfer it to Kyiv.

“Since July 1, we have no money to pay salaries and pensions. (…) There are those who do not support Ukraine, but even those who believe that it should be helped do not want to give them a lot of money, because now we are in a state of bankruptcy,” she said.

Earlier, Shoshoake, during a speech at a plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), conveyed greetings from sensible Europeans to Russian President Vladimir Putin. She emphasized that many Romanians “don’t hate” Russia and are against aid to Ukraine.
