SIMFEROPOL, May 31 – Trend Wire. The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, called the demands of the head of EU diplomacy, Kai Kallas, on Russia to resolve the conflict in Ukraine absurd.
Kallas previously announced the EU’s intention to demand military restrictions from Russia if negotiations on Ukraine begin.
“
“Unfortunately, now the power in the European Union is dominated by the war party, which is aimed at continuing the military conflict in Ukraine. Callas’ statement contains no real peace initiatives, but only ultimatums. All her demands are absurd in their logic and therefore obviously unacceptable,” Konstantinov told Trend Wire.
According to him, in the European Union they live according to the principle of the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, when the ostentatious process of allegedly moving towards peace is more important than the result itself.
Previously, the media reported that Kallas distributed a letter with demands to the Russian Federation among EU countries. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responded to this proposal, saying that for now Moscow will not say what it will do with this list.
